Itinerary Details

Our driver will pick you up from the Delhi Airport or from your hotel in Delhi or Gurgaon and then drive to Agra via the Yamuna expressway.
On arrival in Agra meet the tour guide and proceed to the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal was built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial for his beloved wife Mumtaz.
After touring the Taj Mahal you’ll head to the nearby Agra Fort. Agra Fort was built in 1565 A.D. and it is another majestic creation of the Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Enjoy a lunch break at an air-conditioned multi-cuisine restaurant. Restaurant options will be suggested by the tour guide and if you have any restaurant or hotel to go for lunch then the driver will take you there.

Later you’ll admire the 16th- and 17th-century architecture of the enormous Agra Fort and the Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula (aka Baby Taj).

Taj Mahal

On arrival in Agra, meet the tour guide and proceed to The Taj Mahal, built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial for his beloved wife Mumtaz. Breakfast (optional)

Agra Fort

The Agra Fort, also known as the Lal Qila or Red Fort, is situated on the banks of Yamuna River in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage and one of the best forts in India. Agra Fort was originally a brick fort known as Badalgarh, held by Raja Badal Singh, a Hindu Rajput king (1475 AD). Sikandar Lodi was the first Sultan of Delhi to shift his capital from Delhi to Agra. After Sikandar Lodi died in 1517, his son Ibrahim Lodi held the fort for 9 years until he was defeated and killed in the battle of Panipat in 1526. Several palaces, wells and a mosque were built in the fort during the Lodi period.

Tomb Of Itimad-ud-Daulah

The tomb is also known as the Jewel Box or Baby Taj as it looks like a smaller version of the Taj Mahal. It is one of the popular Agra tourist places and also one of the top attractions you must include in Agra packages. It is believed that this tomb was the inspiration behind the construction of the Taj Mahal. Itimad-ud-Daulah is the first monument in India built entirely with marble. The tomb was built between 1622 and 1628 by the Queen of Jahangir, Nur Jahan as a memorial to her father, Mirza Ghiyas. Mirza Ghiyas was an imperial officer and bestowed with the title of Itmad-ud-Daulah (Pillar of State) by Emperor Jahangir.

Mehtab Bagh

Mehtab Bagh is a charbagh complex and also known as (Moonlight Garden) was built by Emperor Babur in the early 1500s and the width of the gardens perfectly aligns with those of the Taj Mahal. It was then famously known as the “moonlit pleasure garden” when Emperor Shah Jahan identified it as the ideal site from which to admire the mausoleum.

Drive back to your hotel and overnight stay in Agra.

Day 2

Visit Mathura - Vrindavan and Travel back to Delhi

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Mathura Vrindavan.

Prem Mandir

It is dedicated to Radha Krishna and Sita Ram.The temple was established by the fifth Original Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. Different Leelas of Shri Krishna and Rasik saints are depicted all over the wall of the main temple. It is maintained by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, an international non-profit, educational, spiritual, charitable trust. The complex is on a 55-acre site on the outskirts of Vrindavan.

Banke Bihari Temple

The temple is dedicated to Banke Bihari who is believed to be the combined form of Radha and Krishna (lord and deity of Hinduism). It is the only temple where loud temple bells are not used to wake Krishna in the morning. It is believed improper to wake a child with a start. He is woken gently. There are thus no bells even for Aarti, as it might disturb him.

ISKCON Vrindavan

Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, also called ISKCON Vrindavan, is one of the major ISKCON temples in the world. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu gods Krishna and Balarama. ISKCON was formed to spread the practice of Bhakti yoga, the practice of love of God in which those involved (bhaktas) dedicate their thoughts and actions towards pleasing Krishna, whom they consider the Supreme Lord.

Krishna Janma Bhoomi Mandir - The birthplace of Krishna

The Krishna Janmbhoomi temple in Mathura town of Uttar Pradesh is much revered by Hindus. It is believed to have been built around the prison cell in which Lord Krishna was said to have been born. According to legend, the temple was built by Vajranabha, Krishna’s great-grandson, in the 6th century BC.
