Itinerary of Jaipur Udaipur Trip for 3 days
Day 1: Jaipur Arrival
Arrival at the Delhi airport, where our representatives meet you after that you can either pick a flight to Jaipur or you can select a car tour from Delhi to Jaipur. The road trip will take around 4-5 hours to reach Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur, our team will receive you with driver and take you to the hotel. Have some rest and then freshen up for the sightseeing.
Day activity: Jaipur Sightseeing Tour
Excursion to Amber Fort: After breakfast, drive to the Amer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Amer Fort is well-known for its artistic style of Hindu elements and has cobbled paths, a series of gates, and large ramparts. Among this is the great, big courtyard, and don’t forget to visit minute mirror works on the Sheesh Mahal, and grand viewing of the surroundings on hills can be covered.
City Palace: Later, proceed to visit the City Palace. The Palace houses museums with an array of textiles, costumes, weapons, and paintings in a complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings right in the center of the Old City. The outer wall was built by Jai Singh II, but within it, the palace has been enlarged and adapted over the centuries.
Jal Mahal: Next, visit Jal Mahal, near the cenotaphs of the Maharanis of Jaipur. Beautifully situated in the watery expanse of Man Sagar, this is a dreamlike palace. Its origins are uncertain, but it was believed to have been extensively restored, if not built, by Jai Singh II in 1734.
Hawa Mahal – Palace of Wind : Photo stop en route at the iconic Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, famous for its face which is considered as one of the most highly praised landmarks in Jaipur. You can also borrow Rajasthani dresses there and enjoy photography in banjara dresses.
Jantar Mantar (Optional): In the end, visit the World Heritage Site Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory that dates back to the 1700s. Jantar Mantar is an observatory begun by Jai Singh II in 1728 that resembles a collection of bizarre giant sculptures.
Local Bazaars: Visit the local bazaars of Jaipur, where you can see extraordinary handicrafts and amazing Rajasthani cultural things like jewlery, chuda, chunari print sarees, and dresses. Then you must taste the local street food and feel the Rajasthani tradition and culture in your every mouth-watering bite.
Overnight: Enjoy dinner at your own and take rest at your hotel.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Jaipur
Start your second day of the Jaipur tour with sightseeing of architectural wonders of Rajasthan, such as the mighty Nahargarh Fort, palace has 12 matching boudoirs for the queens, at the head of which is a suite for the king. They are all connected by corridors decorated with delicate murals.
Day Activity:
Nahargarh Fort: Drown yourself in the ethereal views of Jaipur from the Nahargarh Fort.
Fort Jaigarh: If time allows then we will visit Jaigarh as well. It is home to the world’s largest cannon and comes with wheels. Bring it on limits.
Afternoon:
Drive to Udaipur: Head for Udaipur, which is a little far from Jaipur, after a very scenic drive of about 6 hours en route to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Rajasthan.
Dinner En Route: Curry dinner at a popular restaurant en route.
Overnight:
Udaipur Hotel Check-in: In the evening, after visiting all the ends, turn up in the beautiful city of Udaipur and visit the beautiful hotel to take enough rest in the hotel room as you may feel quite tired with the long day of journey and sightseeing.
Day 3: Udaipur sightseeing and departure:
Wake up early in the morning in the romantic city of Lakes Udaipur. Take a relaxing breath and freshen up. After being ready, enjoy your breakfast and meet our guide, who will take you to the sightseeing of this beautiful city.
Day Activity:
Hotel Breakfast: The day begins with a delicious breakfast at the hotel overlooking Lake Pichola.
City Palace: The city palace flourished when Udaipur was the capital of the Mewar kingdom. The Mewar kings lost their royal privileges when India became independent in 1947, but the family still owns the palace. Furthermore, they still see it as their duty to work in favour of the development of Udaipur. A marvelous marble architecture that a visitor should look for when starting sightseeing in Udaipur. Indeed, this has come as a backbone based on the lake and offers an exceptionally brilliant view of the lake and the city. The museum inside the palace has a great collection of items for display belonging to the Mewar dynasty.
Jagdish Temple: The temple is one of the best places to visit in Udaipur to see Hindu religious ceremonies. The temple is always busy with devotees that come to pray. As a foreigner you are welcome to witness the singing and chanting. It is also very worthwhile to look at the details in the beautiful carvings on the sides of the temple. Visit the fantastically carved Hindu temple locally known as Jagdish Temple, which is devoted to Lord Vishnu in the form of a deity. Have a look around the place for its religious feeling and minute architecture in detail.
Boating at Pichola Lake: It should be followed up with an easy boar riding in the Pichola Lake past Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. the breathtaking scenery of the lake, joined by the cool breeze.
